Friendraiser/Fundraiser Highlights Caring

We attended the Central Indiana Council on Aging (CICOA) second annual Signature Breakfast today with client Alliance Home Health Care.

It was a great opportunity for friendraising and networking as well as fundraising. But it really gave attendees the chance to hear some heartfelt, emotional stories about all the lives that are touched by caregivers and organizations such as CICOA and Alliance.

Alliance is one of the most experienced licensed and certified home care providers offering home care nursing; geriatric care management; occupational, speech and physical therapy; and non-medical personal home care and senior companion services on an hourly, 24-hour, private duty, full-time, part-time and intermittent basis. Alliance enables individuals to remain in the safety and comfort of their own home environments for as long as possible.

This event really opened my eyes to all the caring, selfless people in this city, state and country who are willing to give of their time, money, support and love to help others who are aging, challenged or going through difficult times. Thanks to those people–for sharing your care.

Alliance Home Health Care Selects Coles Marketing Communications

Coles Marketing Communications has been selected by one of central Indiana’s oldest and most experienced senior services agencies to lead its communications, marketing, creative and social media activities.

Alliance Home Health Care provides skilled home nursing, therapy and non-medical companion services to seniors in Marion, Hamilton, Boone, Hendricks, Hancock and Johnson counties. The company offers home-care nursing; geriatric care management; occupational, speech and physical therapy; and non-medical, personal home care and senior companion services on an hourly, 24-hour, private duty, full-time, part-time and intermittent basis.

Through coordinated care and support for seniors and their families, Alliance enables people to remain in the safety and comfort of their home as long as possible. The company also helps seniors make a successful transition from assisted-living facilities, hospitals, nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities back to their homes.

“Alliance Home Health Care has been a force in providing critical support to seniors throughout central Indiana for nearly 20 years,” said Barbara L. Coles, APR, president of Coles Marketing Communications. “We look forward to a close and long-lasting partnership with Alliance to help them reach more central Indiana residents in need of their vast array of services and support and to help the company help individuals and families coping with the health and welfare of their older loved ones.”

Established in 1991, Alliance is led by CEO/Administrator Jan Roberts and located at 9615 N. College Ave. in Indianapolis. Recently, Roberts was featured on Indianapolis Business Journal’s “Leading Questions” video spotlight.

New Site for Alliance Care Advisors Division

Alliance Home Health Care, a skilled provider of senior home health care, is pleased to announce that it has launched a new website for its newest division, Alliance Care Advisors.

The site, www.alliancecareadvisors.net, highlights the Care Advisors services of facilitating senior care, advocating for the family, coordinating care and education. It also features a number of resources for visitors looking for additional information on aging as well as several testimonials from clients in the Care Advisors program and their family members.

“Through Alliance Care Advisors, we work closely with clients and their families to promote well-being, manage crises and navigate the complex health care system,” said Kelly Panzer, director of marketing at Alliance Home Health Care. “We hope that our new Care Advisors website is one more way for people to learn about all the services we offer as well as additional resources for aging and senior health.”

Alliance Care Advisors was launched in October 2009 to help geriatric clients and their families navigate the complexities of aging. The division offers everything from information organization and oversight to coordination of care in a crisis to ensure clients and their families’ needs and wishes are being met.

Alliance Care Advisors works independent from Alliance Home Health Care, while continuing to offer the same high-quality service and expertise that Alliance Home Health Care has provided the Indianapolis area since 1991.

Jan Roberts of Alliance “Leads” the Way

Jan Roberts is the owner and CEO of Alliance Home Health Care, a client of ours. She recently sat down with the Indianapolis Business Journal’s Mason King for his “Leading Questions” series, where you get to know a little more about Jan.

A loving daughter, mother and grandmother. A working mom who successfully graduated from college. A businesswoman with expertise and finesse on both the financial and personal sides of the table. A professional who has spearheaded and led several organizations to success. A visionary who has made home health care and the client her primary focus and concern. A mentor who has made her mark on the community, her staff and her family.

In this clip, Jan talks about how Alliance got started and how her experience with breast cancer helped inform the firm’s mission. She also explains how her role as caregiver extends to her own staff, and why the study of psychology is vital to plotting the company’s path. View the video here.

Today, Alliance Home Health Care is the fifth-largest woman-owned business in the Indianapolis area, in terms of local full-time-equivalent employees (138).
