Helping Children with ADHD and Learning Difficulties

Open since July, the Indianapolis Brain Balance Center, located at 9510 N. Meridian Street, Suite D, is now getting ready for its grand opening celebration, November 15-17. And Brain Balance Program Founder Dr. Robert Melillo will be the special guest at the three-day celebration!

Dr. Melillo is founder of the groundbreaking Brain Balance Program® and author of the book, “Disconnected Kids.” He is an internationally known lecturer, author, educator, researcher and clinician in the areas of neurology, rehabilitation, neuropsychology and neurobehavioral disorders in children. He’s also an expert in nutrition with more than 20 years of clinical experience.

Monday, November 15
3-5pm: Open House – A Meet & Greet with Dr. Melillo and appearance by Radio Disney, Brain Balance Center, 9510 N. Meridian Street, Suite D, Indianapolis
7-9pm: Parent Lecture at the Renaissance Marriott, 11925 North Meridian Street, Carmel
 
Tuesday, November 16
10am: Official Ribbon Cutting ceremony at Brain Balance Center in Indianapolis
1-3pm: Parent Lecture at Meridian Hills Country Club, 7099 Spring Mill Rd, Indianapolis
6-8pm: Professional Lecture at Meridian Hills Country Club

New Brain Balance Center Now Open in Indianapolis

A new facility for Brain Balance Achievement Centers is now open on the north side of Indianapolis at 9510 N. Meridian Street, Suite D.

Brain Balance Achievement Centers offer the Brain Balance Program® in 29 nationwide locations. This proprietary, non-medical program has been successful in helping hundreds of children who suffer from ADD/ADHD, Dyslexia, Tourette’s, Asperger’s and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

In order to educate parents on the basics of the Brain Balance Program, parent lectures will be held throughout July and August at the new facility at the following times:

• Wednesday, July 28, at 1:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, August 3, at 7:00 p.m.
• Wednesday, August 11, at 1:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, August 17, at 7:00 p.m.
• Wednesday, August 25, at 1:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, August 31, at 7:00 p.m.

To register for a parent lecture, please call 317-843-9200 and ask for Julie Peterson. Educators and professionals, such as occupational therapists, psychologists and pediatricians, are also encouraged to attend.

The parent lectures will discuss the 12-week afterschool program, which first includes a comprehensive assessment of all areas of a child’s brain and body function. Then, by integrating physical and cognitive exercises with dietary change, Brain Balance Achievement Centers are able to correct the child’s underlying brain imbalance, improve function and reduce/eliminate negative behaviors.

New Educational Center for Children Coming to Indianapolis!

Some of the biggest and hottest topics today with regard to children are ADD/ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Take, for example, the story about a study linking crop pesticides to ADHD. The story appeared on NBC’s “Today” and CBS’ “Early Show,” along with all three network evening news programs. Or how about researchers recently unveiling the most detailed picture yet of the genetic causes of autism.

So many children and their parents turn to medication for results, but a new facility opening on the north side of Indianapolis offers a non-medical approach to looking at these challenges and many others. Brain Balance Achievement Centers will be opening in July — bringing an individualized, comprehensive approach to helping children with neurobehavioral and learning difficulties overcome their unique challenges.
