Speciatly tax firm McGuire Sponsel has added a highly experienced tax consultant who specializes in research and experimentation tax credits to its expanding practice.

Steve Brunson has helped a variety of manufacturers in numerous industries capture research and experimentation credits available through federal and state laws since 2000. He most recently was a partner at Meridian Tax Advisors. “We’re excited to have Steve join McGuire Sponsel and bring his strong background in securing research and experimentation tax credits to our firm and clients,” said McGuire Sponsel Director TJ Sponsel. “He will continue to serve clients he has worked with in recent years and will now have more resources, talent and experience to assist him in providing industry leading guidance.”

Brunson is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
