• The average patient loses 78% of their excess body weight over the first year after gastic bypass.
• Weight loss surgery is a cure for Type 2 Diabetes.  At CRH, 70% of the time after gastric bypass, Type 2 Diabetes comes under complete control (requiring no medications) within one year.
